Nutrition is a cornerstone of integrative care. I believe in the power of Food as Medicine for healing. I utilize approaches that are grounded in science, not just in hopes. By enlisting our daily food choices, we empower ourselves to gain control over our wellness and health. Health is not just the absence of disease, but the fulfillment of optimal physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I apply evidence-based principles within the Integrative Functional Medicine framework, a practice that seeks to identify and address root causes of undesirable conditions and symptoms. With the right combination of whole foods, supplements as needed, exercise, sleep, stress management, and mental wellness, the body’s natural healing will be heightened. I am an Integrative Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner, a graduate of Dr. Aviva Romm’s Women’s Functional & Integrative Medicine Professional Training program, a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, and a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I also completed three Advanced Practice Modules in GI, Cardiometabolic, and Immune with the Institute of Functional Medicine. Let’s get to work.
