Amy Motamed, DO

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist and work with patients to create specific treatment recommendations based on their individual needs. Treatment recommendations may include therapy, lifestyle adjustments including nutritional psychiatry, and/or medications. I find it important to collaborate with other medical providers while working with patients as well as with their families where appropriate.  I have experience treating patients with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD as well as obsessive compulsive disorder.  I completed my medical degree at Touro University in Vallejo, CA in 2011 and my psychiatric residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2015 where I served as chief resident during my final year of training.

I am licensed in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. and offer both in person and telehealth appointments.
